Here we will post updates of our puppies, litter announcements and news, As responsible hobby breeders and Ridgebacklovers we offer advice and help about everything that concerns your life with a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
For all puppy owners we have a what's app chat group as well to offer help, exchange photos and videos and make puppy meet ups possible. We are partners and friends with our puppy owners and welcome every new community member.
Cinnamon Bun of Rastaman aka Bear is officially a Stud Dog
Bear received finally his last health exams in July 2022. With execellent Hips and no abnormalities in Elbows and Shoulders he completed all health checks with ease and fantastic results!
Bear is not AKC registered, he will remain with our German Breeder Club DRRC/RRBC and all puppies will be registered with the same club. Eventually we will sign him with the UKC soon. Contact for more info: 808 9908490
Update January 2026
Ridge & Royal"s Firefly Missy has been added to our pack. She was almost 1 year old when we adopted her from a befriended breeder who still kept her for us. Now she will continue Bowser's Legacy and lineage together with Bear...We are excited. She will be registered with the AKC and our German Breeder Club.
Update December 2025
Bowser, the foundation of our Kennel and my soul dog has died by accident shortly before Christmas. He was at great health. We are devastated but also grateful to have spend almost 11 years with the most amazing dog of all times. Bowser will leave a space that will never be filled...
Update September 2024:
Our F - Litter "Furever March" was born on 9/9/24 and Irie gave birth to 7 wonderful Puppies. Father of the litter is our D-Litter Pup "Ridge and Royal"s Da Rasta Ziggy", son of March and Bowser.
Update September 2023:
Our beloved March has gone too early. We are so heart broken. Only a year after getting her spayed, she died unexpectly of anal gland cancer.
Forever in our hearts!!!
Update January 2022:
The new winter gear "Hurtta Expedition Parka" has arrived and is highly recommended for all our pups in the colder states.

Update September 2021:
All puppies have moved into their best possible homes and live with their wonderful families. Zaba and Dotty are going to move to Hawaii. Zira made it to Vegas, Emma and Elli live together in Oklahoma. All boys, exept for Joker (Arizona with his half brother Lyric). stayed in Colorado this time.

Update July 25th 2021:
Irie gave birth to 12 pups and 1 angel on the 25th to the 26th of July. All pups have strong red and dark red pigment, a Ridge and are overall healthy and hungry. Mommy Irie is doing great. I accompanied her pregnancy, birthing process and nursing time all with homeopathic remedies and everything went very smooth this time. I am still seeking forever homes for some of the puppies.

(Update June 2021)
Cinnamon Bun of Rastaman aka BEAR is going to be big brother. The ultrasound today came out positive with plenty of strong little heart beats. We are beyond excited to welcome on more batch of beautiful pups from Bowser and Irie into this world around the 26 of July....
The Keeper
This is "Ridge & Royal's Cinnamon Bun of Rastaman" aka "BEAR". Bear is our Keeper and will be the best companion for our son Sam. Bear is a promising offspring of Bowser and Irie in the deep red color of his mother, a very strong bone structure, correct Ridge, teeth and tail, no white markings and the sweetest personality. He combines famous and healthy bloodlines from Africa (82 %) and might be a future stud if all tests come out perfectly.
August 2020
All 18 puppies have moved out into their new forever homes. We are very happy with our choices anf can't say Thank You enough to all of the new puppy owners. 7 puppies moved across the US, 10 will stay in Denver area and Bear will move with me and Irie back to Germany in Fall 2020
Our puppies have arrived!!!
On June 7th Irie gave birth to 7 boys and 3 girls, all with ridge and in strong pigment.
March gave birth only a day after to 6 girls and 3 boys. All pups are healthy and beautiful. Mommies and Dad are doing great!
Corona created a new path (Update April 2020)
Sometimes crisis bring new chances, new hopes and even new life. We decided to give both of our girls the opportunity to get pregnant in order to higher the chance of having puppies at all. Since the planned litter in Hawaii with Irie never happended, I decided to give it another try. This time I want to keep a puppy and prefer of course one of my own... It will be also our last breeding with March. Eventually one day Irie might be having puppies again, but that would be in her home country, Germany. March and Irie are the best friends and both in love with Bowser. Our pack of 3 is pure harmony and beauty and we are very excited about this miracle to happen. For Bowser and March it is their 3rd marriage and we expect another beautiful, and character proof litter of large built puppies. For Irie it would be the first litter and we can't wait to see Bowser and Irie in the mix. This pairing will bring oustanding puppies in lineage, color, built and character. All our dogs are perfectly healthy and checked for genetic defects. Plesae check out their data on this website or get to know them all personally here in Arvada, Colorado.
The litter announcements follow as soon as pregnancies are confirmed. If everything worked out, we will have Ridgeback puppies in June 2020 in Arvada, Colorado

Something went wrong...
Unfortunately this dream didn't come true. Irie didn't have her first litter in December 2019, probably due to the artificial insemenation. Natuer has it's own plans and Irie will have her first litter in the all natural ways. We are planning her first litter for summer 2020 in Arvada, Colorado.
