Ridge & Royal  Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Irie comes from the legendary Kennel "Chaka Zulu" in Germany and is one of three females in a litter of nine. I was very lucky to make an early reservation for her when I heard about this very special litter. Her heritage is unique and combines the best of the best: A 100% reliable character, thick and strong built, the perfect ridge, beautiful face, an outstanding pedigree with the most famous and royal bloodlines and of course a healthy heritage.

The first 4 months of her life Irie spent with her pack of 14 Ridgebacks including her siblings. The entire litter turned out to be not only extremly handsome and beautiful but also very calm, patient and gentle.

Irie joined us in July 2018 and was from day one the best friend, nanny, and sister to my son, Sam. She makes sure he doesn't hurt himself, she plays with him, was there when he made his first steps, and is the most gentle and patient dog I've ever met. Irie is a true pack animal and gets along with every dog and human she comes into contact with. Even though she is protective over her family, she lets everyone quickly in her heart - that's why I always say she is a sheep in a wolf's coat. She never growls, always just wants to be loved, and doesn't know what evil is. I'm so proud to call her mine and I'm so excited to see her as a mom one day soon.
